However, our hair often pays the price for those dramatic shifts in temperature and humidity. As a stylist, I see first-hand how a hot July day at Charlotte Beach affects your strands differently than a blustery January afternoon near Highland Park. Transitioning your hair care routine is just as important as swapping your sundress for a puffer coat. Here is my expert guide on how to protect your locks through the highs and lows of the Flower City’s climate. ## Summer: Battling Humidity, UV, and Chlorine When the Rochester humidity hits 90%, the fight against frizz becomes real.
